Almost every house has a room the central system just cannot reach: the garage workshop, the converted lanai, the bonus room over the garage, the addition that never cooled right. You learn to live with it, but you do not have to. Mini-split ductless systems solve exactly that problem, and we have been installing them across Tampa Bay for years, with the same care we have brought to cooling since 1988.
Where do mini-splits make the most sense?
Garages and studios
Additions and lanais
Homes without ductwork
Stubborn hot rooms
In-law suites

Are ductless systems efficient?
Very. Because the refrigerant line runs directly to the room, there are no duct losses, and inverter-driven compressors adjust output to the space instead of cycling on and off. Each indoor head is its own zone, so you cool the rooms you use instead of the whole house.

Why does installation quality matter so much?
A mini-split lives or dies on the details: correct line-set lengths, proper vacuum and charge, clean condensate drainage, and smart placement of the indoor head. Our technicians install them clean and correct, and you approve the exact price before work begins. The state license behind that work, CAC042730, is held by our owners personally, not parked in a corporate office, so the person responsible for your installation is someone you can actually reach.

Frequently Asked Questions
Mini-splits solve the problem every central system leaves behind: the garage workshop, the converted lanai, the bonus room over the garage, the addition that never cooled right. We install them in detached studios, in-law suites, enclosed lanais the ductwork never reached, and stubborn hot rooms that stay miserable no matter what the thermostat says. Older Tampa Bay homes with no existing ducts are another common fit. If you have a room the central system cannot reach, or a space that needs its own zone, a mini-split is the answer.
Tell us which room is giving you trouble and we will confirm whether a mini-split is the right fix. Contact us for a free estimate.
Very efficient, and for two reasons. The refrigerant line runs directly to the room, so there are no duct losses, which can eat up 20 to 30 percent of your cooling in a typical ducted system. Inverter-driven compressors adjust output to the space instead of cycling on and off, which saves energy and holds a steadier temperature. Each indoor head is its own zone, so you cool the rooms you use instead of conditioning the whole house.

A mini-split lives or dies on the details: correct line-set lengths, proper vacuum and charge, clean condensate drainage, and smart placement of the indoor head. Get any of those wrong and the system will not cool right, or it will fail early, or both. Our technicians install them clean and correct, and you approve the exact price before work begins. Yes. Mini-splits pull moisture out of the air just like central systems do, and because the indoor head is dedicated to one room, it can hold tighter control over both temperature and humidity in that space. In a converted lanai or garage workshop where humidity creeps in through gaps, a mini-split will drop the dew point and make the room comfortable. The condensate drains outside through a small line we install as part of the job.
If humidity is the main problem in a specific room, describe what you are seeing and we will confirm a mini-split will fix it. Contact us anytime.
It depends on whether the problem is one room or the whole house. If the rest of the house cools fine and you just need to reach a garage apartment or a stubborn bonus room, a mini-split is the cleaner answer. If the central system is struggling everywhere, or the ductwork is shot, we will tell you that too. We have been installing both since 1988, and we give you a straight answer even when the answer is the cheaper option.
Not sure which direction makes sense? Contact us for a free estimate and we will walk through both options with you.
Installation time depends on how many indoor units we are mounting and how the line sets need to route. We mount the indoor unit on the wall, set the outdoor condenser, run the refrigerant line and electrical, vacuum the system, charge it, test it, and clean up. Our crews will skip lunch to finish rather than leave you without air, and customers are surprised by how thoroughly we clean up after the install.

The biggest factors are the size of the space, the number of indoor heads, and the line-set distance between the outdoor condenser and the indoor unit. A single-head system for a 200-square-foot studio costs less than a three-head system covering an entire in-law suite. Placement matters too: if the condenser has to go on the opposite side of the house from the indoor head, the line set runs longer and costs more. You approve the exact price before work begins, and we will tell you if a different configuration saves money without giving anything up.

Yes, and it is simple. The indoor filter pulls out and rinses clean every month or two depending on how much dust the room generates. We check refrigerant charge, clean the coils, confirm the condensate drains freely, and test the controls on an annual service visit. Skipping maintenance does not break the system immediately, but it will cost you efficiency and shorten the compressor life.
We offer maintenance plans that cover your mini-split along with any other equipment you have. Contact us to add yours.
Absolutely. Most mini-splits also heat, and in Tampa Bay that matters more than people think. A January morning in a garage workshop or a lanai with no insulation can drop into the 40s, and a mini-split will bring it back to comfortable in minutes. The heat pump reverses the refrigerant cycle, so the same system that cools in August heats in January without any extra equipment.
